This memorial website was designed by MOM,in the memory of our loved one, David Giraud who was born in Michigan on May 19,1973 and 'Fell Asleep' on April 21,  2006 at the age of 32. We will remember and love him forever.

OUR DAVID WAS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON, INSIDE AND OUT. HE IS SO VERY MISSED BY HIS LOVING FAMILY: FATHER, ALLEN; MOM CATHY; BROTHERS, BRIAN, DUSTYN, AND KEVIN GIRAUD;  HIS SISTER-IN-LAW, JODI(MARRIED TO BRIAN) HIS SWEET LITTLE NIECE, KARA(BRIAN & JODI) KEVIN'S FIANCE, MELISSA TOWNLEY. OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN, BUT WE KNOW WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN, ONE DAY!!

A MAN IN GRIEF

"It must be difficult
To be a man in grief,
Since "men don't cry" and "men are strong"
No tears can bring relief.
It must be very difficult
To stand up to the test
and field calls and visitors
So she can get some rest.
They always ask if she's doing all right

and thinks his heart will break.

SMILE BECAUSE HE LIVED

I CAN SHED TEARS THAT DAVID IS GONE,
OR I CAN SMILE BECAUSE HE LIVED,
I CAN CLOSE MY EYES AND PRAY THAT HE'LL COME BACK,
OR I CAN OPEN MY EYES AND SEE ALL THAT HE HAS LEFT US. 

MY HEART CAN BE EMPTY BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE HIM,
OR I CAN BE FULL OF THE LOVE THAT WE SHARED.
I CAN TURN MY BACK ON TOMORROW AND LIVE YESTERDAY,
OR I CAN BE BLESSED FOR TOMORROW BECAUSE OF YESTERDAY.
